Ross Street Playground, Forest Lodge
Kids in Forest Lodge, rejoice – you have a new pocket playground on your doorstep!
Slide, swing, step and spin or simply enjoy the nature play area.
We’ve installed colourful soft fall surfaces and planted new trees and garden beds.
Parents and carers can relax on the new seating areas within and away from the playground.
We’ve also put in a new paved pathway, fencing, gates and a bubbler.
Crete Reserve Playground, Rosebery
Families in Rosebery can now explore a wonderful new local playground.
New play equipment, including swings, timber climbing platforms and a slide, and soft rubber surfaces are in place.
We’ve protected existing old trees and planted more, as well as native shrubs and grasses.
New seating and resting platforms are ready for those who need a place to unwind.
Upgrades to Maybanke Park in Pyrmont, Shannon Reserve Playground in Surry Hills and Fig Lane Playground in Ultimo are almost complete.
Work on several other small parks in our area will soon get underway.
Pockets of green set for a makeover include Beaconsfield Park Playground in Beaconsfield, James Hilder Playground in Surry Hills, Daniel Dawson Reserve in Alexandria, Strickland Park in Chippendale, Hollis Park Playground in Newtown, and Cardigan Street Reserve, Palmerston Avenue Steps and Sarah Peninton Reserve in Glebe.
