Change Makers Launchpad Program 2025

What you’ll learn

The changemakers launchpad is open to young people who are passionate about change, and want to develop their civic knowledge and leadership skills.

Join workshops and events to get a deeper understanding of how governments function and how you can play a role in advocating for change.

Topics covered include civic literacy, understanding government processes, storytelling for advocacy and civic action in practice.

Who can apply

You can take part if you are 16-24 and live, work or study in the City of Sydney’s area.

The 2.5-hour workshops run fortnightly from 5.30pm to 8pm, from 18 March to 10 June, and conclude with a final celebration on 27 June. At the final session, you will receive a certificate of completion and the opportunity to connect with organisations and changemakers working in this space.
