A celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, businesses, dance and music.
National NAIDOC Week runs 7 to 14 July and recognises the history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year’s theme is ‘Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud’. The festivities kicked off with a Smoking Ceremony outside Sydney Town Hall.
More than 25 stalls offered a vibrant array of clothes, art, crafts, homewares, information about services and more.
This group celebrates the strength, resilience and stories of Aboriginal peoples in NSW through powerful storytelling and dance.
Crowds were mesmerised by performances from this 100% Aboriginal-owned and operated social enterprise.
After a day full of excitement, the celebrations continued in Sydney Town Hall with south-west Sydney singer, Riah.
The 2020 Triple J Unearthed Artist of the Year energised the audience with an unforgettable performance.
The twice ARIA-nominated artist wrapped up a fantastic night showcasing music across multiple genres.
