HolonIQ’s Global Climate Tech Venture Report projects green technology investment more than doubling from pre-pandemic levels to $US37 billion in 2021, accelerating startups and creating a climate tech boom.
The demand and need for climate tech is on the rise. However, where are we going, and how do we get there?
We’ll explore this question in the context of corporate decarbonisation, a key area where pioneering technology can help navigate the barriers of regulation, capital and scalability. This is one of the many topics to be discussed by global thinkers at our Visiting Entrepreneur Program.
The program, from 22 June to 1 July, is a series of free events to encourage robust conversations on the latest technological breakthroughs and tackling major global challenges in a pandemic world.
Grace Sai is the co-founder and CEO of Unravel Carbon, an enterprise software that helps companies track and reduce their carbon emissions.
Grace will share her insights on climate tech at 4 events:
- Future TBD: How is technology shaping a better future? – Wednesday 22 June
- Lessons for our future: How to accelerate climate-tech? – Thursday 23 June
- Smart cities: Can technology make them sustainable? – Friday 24 June
- Travel guide to decarbonisation: How do we get there? – Thursday 30 June
The 10-day program will see global experts also dream, discuss and debate self-driving cars and the promise of the metaverse, to opportunities in biotechnology, quantum in space, Web 3.0 and more.
