The epic Bondi to Manly walk is set to be the perfect way to explore Sydney’s stunning coastline – arguably the best in the world – on foot. The walk will soon be a reality, with local and state government agencies recently signing a memorandum of understanding.
The proposed Bondi to Manly walk will link existing coastal and harbourside tracks and paths between 2 of Australia's most famous surf beaches.
The 80km trail will tick off notable sights including the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Royal Botanic Garden.
Extending along the harbour foreshore close to Circular Quay, the Bondi to Manly trail will meander through Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay and continue along through Rushcutters Bay Park.
The idea is the brainchild of a group of Sydneysiders keen to connect the city’s existing tracks, great beaches and sparkling harbour in a world-class walking experience.
